Gentle cycle, below 30°C

Use the delicate or gentle setting and never exceed 30°C. Higher temperatures permanently damage Supima's extra-long staple fibres, causing irreversible loss of shape and softness.

Turn inside out before every wash

This shields the outer surface from friction during the cycle, preserves colour depth, and prevents pilling on the face fabric especially important for richer tones.

pH-neutral, enzyme-free detergent

Avoid bleach, optical brighteners, or harsh enzyme formulas. They degrade Supima fibres at a molecular level, stripping the natural softness that cannot be restored once lost.

Hang in shade or lay flat

Reshape while damp, then hang on a line or lay flat away from direct sunlight. Sun fades colour over time. Never wring or twist, it distorts the knit structure permanently.

Never use a dryer

Even on a low setting, heat and mechanical tumbling shrink the fabric, break down the interlock knit structure, and cause permanent, irreversible damage to Supima cotton fibres.

Do not dry clean

Dry cleaning solvents break down Supima cotton at the fibre level. They remove the natural hand-feel permanently and alter the texture of the fabric over multiple exposures.

Iron

✓ If needed

Cool iron, inside out only

Iron only if necessary, inside out, on the coolest setting. High heat flattens the knit structure and leaves permanent sheen marks on the face of the fabric. Steam is perfectly fine.

Essential Polo

Iron collar from the back first

Start at the collar back side pressing from the points inward. Then the placket, then the body inside out on cool. Keeps the collar crisp and leaves no visible marks on the face.
